Hi, I’m Alyssa O’Leary, M.S., CCC-SLP — a licensed speech-language pathologist providing personalized evaluations and therapy for children and adolescents.

I became a speech-language pathologist because I genuinely love helping children communicate in ways that feel natural, functional, and meaningful to their everyday lives. Since beginning my career in 2022, I’ve worked in both school and private practice settings with children ranging from early childhood through middle school, supporting a wide range of speech, language, and social communication needs.

My approach is rooted in a balance of play-based and structured therapy, always tailored to each child’s individual strengths and needs. I believe that the most effective therapy happens when children feel comfortable, engaged, and understood — and when families feel informed and supported every step of the way.

In addition to providing therapy, I specialize in comprehensive speech and language evaluations. I am passionate about creating clear, thorough, and meaningful reports that truly capture a child’s abilities and needs — helping families feel confident in next steps, whether that’s school support, private services, or both.

As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to trust the professionals working with your child. I strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where both children and families feel at ease.

A Child-Led, Evidence-Based Approach

I believe in meeting every child where they are. My therapy sessions are built on compassion and clinical expertise, focusing on inclusive, child-led models that empower young voices to grow with confidence. Together, we create a supportive environment where communication feels natural and achievable for every family.
